Role of Practice Nurse

Practice Nurse Kate Dickinson joined the Practice in September 2016. She graduated from The University of the West of Scotland with a BSC in Adult Nursing in 2010 and is a member of the Royal College of Nursing. For the last six years she has worked as a registered Nurse in the Trauma and Orthopaedics Department at the Royal Alexandria Hospital. She has a special interest in health promotion and long-term health conditions. As a Practice Nurse she is available for consultation by appointment and she will assist in the provision Family Planning, smear tests, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. She also runs clinics for long-term health conditions such as Asthma, Heart Disease and Diabetes Management. Kate is a valuable addition to our team.
