The Surgery will be closed from 1pm on Thursday 17th June for essential Training.  Should you have a medical emergency that cannot wait until the practice reopens on Friday 18th June at 0825am, please contact the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930.  Your call will be assessed by a GP where appropriate between the hours of 1pm and 5:30pm.  If the GP feels during the telephone assessment that you require to be seen face to face between these hours you will be seen at the Practice or offered an appointment after 6pm at your local Ayrshire Urgent Care Centre.

Please note that this telephone number is only active on GP Practice training days and will not be able to be used after this date.

    • Emergency Contraception -If you require emergency contraception please tell the receptionist that you require an appointment that day, or ask to speak to either the doctors or the nurse.

 

    • Family Planning and Contraceptive Services - the doctors are happy to provide simple counselling on family planning. Appointments can be made in the usual way via reception. We do not run a dedicated clinic as we feel this is too inflexible and sometimes be a bit impersonal. Please ask at reception if you require further details.

    • Over 75s screening - available at the surgery or home by district nurse or health visitor)

    • Young Persons Clinics - whilst we do not offer a clinic as such any of our teenage patients are welcome to make an appointment with the nurse or a doctor to discuss any areas of their health that may be worrying them. They will receive full patient confidentiality.
